Biographical notes:

An Australian journalist and feminist. On the staff of the Australasian and the Argus, Melbourne 1884-1905. Lectured on Proportional Representation and Woman's Suffrage. Worked in America 1905-1933. Became Office Secretary of the Chicago Branch of the National Women's Trade Union League of America and remained associated with it till 1928. Edited Life and Labor, a monthly magazine 1914-1918.
