Biographical notes:
The Mackoys were a prominent family in Kenton County, Ky.
William Hardin Mackoy and his son, Harry Brent Mackoy, were both successful lawyers. William Mackoy also served as a delegate to the 1890-1891 Kentucky constitutional convention. He had attended the University of Virginia in the 1850's.
