Biographical notes:
Percy Jasper Wetherbee was born to Guy Victor and Buena Minto Wetherbee in Grants Pass, Oregon on Aug. 4, 1921. Buena's half-brother, Frank Minto, participated in the 1898 Alaska gold rush. Frank Minto married Mabel Burke while in Alaska.
