Harry Caplan received his B.A. in 1916, M.A. in 1917, and Ph.D. in 1921 from Cornell. He taught in Cornell's Department of Public Speaking, 1919-1923, and in the Department of Classics, 1924-1980. Professor Caplan died in 1980.
