Home Economists in Business (HEIB), a section of the American Home Economics Association (later known as the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences), formed in 1924 to integrate the discipline of home economics into the field of business. Chicago Home Economists in Business (CHEIB) was one of two local chapters created in 1924.
