Born in Almeria, Spain. Became a United States citizen. Taught at Tulane University, the Brooklyn Museum, Art Students League, N.Y.C., and the Summer School of Art, Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Has done mural commissions in Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana.
