Biographical notes:

Barbara Rosner Seaman (1935- ): feminist and author, (Oberlin, B.A., 1956) was a columnist and contributing editor at Ladies' Home Journal (1965-1969), child care and education editor at Family Circle (1970-1973), and author of articles and reviews in numerous newpapers and magazines. The author of The Doctors' Case Against the Pill, Free and Female, and Women and the Crisis in Sex Hormones, she was cited for her part in seeing that appropriate written warnings to patients accompany each prescription. She is working on a biography of Jacqueline Susann.
