Biographical notes:

Brian McNaught was born 28 January 1948 in Detroit, and educated in Catholic Schools, and at Marquette University, from which he graduated with a degree in journalism in 1970. He was a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War, and has had a career as a newspaper columnist, writer, political appointee and activist, church activist, sexuality and AIDS educator, and corporate sensitivity trainer. He has written books and produced several audio and videocassettes concerning issues of growing up gay, and homophobia in the workplace. McNaught lives in New York City.
