Pinery Property Protection Committee (Parker, Colo.)
Biographical notes:
The first developer of the Pinery was Terracor, a Utah-based company, with development beginning in 1971. Because of the inability of Terracor to sell sufficient lots as a result of the real estate downturn at the time, the developer was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1982. Senior Corp. took title to the undeveloped land and became the master developer. Around that time the Pinery Property Protection Committee was formed, with Don Andersen as its chairman.
