1902, July 25 Born Jerzy Antoni Niezbrzycki in Niemirov, Ukraine Degree in law; graduate work in geography and philosophy, University of Warsaw 1927 1930 Polish diplomatic service, Moscow and Kiev 1931 1939 Director of Eastern Section of Polish military intelligence; member, faculty of Polish Military Academy and Institute of Journalism 1939 1945 Serves with Polish armed forces in Poland and the West 1945 1949 Resides in London; lectures at Polish Institute of Eastern Affairs and Free Polish University; becomes British subject and changes name to Ryszard Wraga 1949 1958 Resides in Paris; acts as consultant on Soviet Affairs to French Foreign Office Research Department 1958 Emigrates to the U.S.; works at Library of Congress 1963 1967 Research Associate at Hoover Institution, Stanford University 1968, January 30 Dies, Leesburg, Virginia
