Newberry Library. Conservation Section.
In 1975, the Newberry Library Conservation Section was created as a part of the newly formed Conservation Department.

In 1992, the Conservation Section was enlarged to include the Conservation Laboratory and the new Collections Conservation Studio, which dealt with collection level housing and maintenance issues.
