Owen, Robert L. (Robert Latham), 1856-1947
Robert L. Owen practiced law, taught school, and was appointed as an agent for the Five Civilized Tribes prior to his election to the Senate. He served in the U.S. Senate from 1907-1925. After retirement, Owen stayed interested active in world affairs, monetary policy, international law, and Indian affairs.
