Fletcher, Lizzie, 1975-
Elizabeth Ann Pannill Fletcher (born February 13, 1975) is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has represented Texas's 7th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019.
Born in Houston, she graduated from St. John's School before attending Kenyon College, where she earned Phi Beta Kappa honors, and William & Mary Law School in Virginia, where she was the editor-in-chief of the William & Mary Law Review and received the Gambrell Professionalism Award. She then returned to Houston, where she worked for the law firm Vinson & Elkins. Later, she worked at Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing, where she met her husband, Scott, and became the firm's first female law partner.
