Christiansen, Aaron P. (Aaron Parley), 1889-1950

A letter from this item's donor says, "By way of historical context, Aaron P. Christiansen was the eldest son of Parley Christiansen-whose journals you received earlier. Aaron followed in his father's footsteps and became a forest ranger for the Uinta National Forest and the Cache National Forest-both in Utah. In this role he made a number of significant contributions. For example, he built the first hiking trail to the top of Mt. Nebo in Juab County. And, he envisioned and began work on what has now been fully completed-the mountain "loop" road between Payson and Salt Creek Canyon east of Nephi, Utah.

From the description of Aaron P. Christiansen mission journal, 1910-1912. (Unknown). WorldCat record id: 367866185
