Dickinson, Richard, 1786-1840.

A court-martial was brought against him, instigated by Sir Edward Codrington, criticizing his conduct during his service as Commander of the Genoa in the battle of Navarin, but he was acquitted in 1829. He was married to Jane Searle Dickinson.
