Scullin, James Henry, 1876-1953
Politician. Leader of the Labour Party, 1928-1935; Prime Minister, 1929-1932, holding the portfolios of External Affairs, Industry and Treasury during his term. After 1935, Scullin advised the government during World War II and led war time investigations into uniform taxation by an Income Tax on Current Income Committee.
