Ingham, Samuel D. (Samuel Delucenna), 1779-1860
Ingham served as Secretary of the Treasury, 1829-1831, under Pres. Andrew Jackson; staunch supporter of the Second Bank of the United States; helped develop inland canal navigation, railroad transportation, anthracite coal mining in Pennsylvania; died, 1860, in Trenton, N.J.
