Torok (“Axel”) 1936 Moved to join husband in Alexandria, Egypt 1940 Second marriage (divorced 1949) 1942 Worked in tuberculosis ward of military hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, and eventually caught the disease 1949 Married Alfred Trog 1957 Alfred Trog committed suicide Became psychoanalytic patient of K. R. Eissler 1961 Met a new companion following the death of her third husband with whom she divided her time between Florence, Italy, and Vienna, Austria; the companion died in 1971 1983 Moved to be near son in Lake Jackson, Tex. 1992, Dec. Died, Lake Jackson, Tex.
