Fox, Morley

Morley Evans Fox was born in Stamford, Connecticut on April 17, 1919. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Journalism (1947) and served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. Before moving to the District of Columbia in 1964, Fox worked as the Arizona State Director for the National Beer Wholesalers Association, ran his family's ranch near Flagstaff, and edited the Arizona Cattle Growers' Association's magazine. From 1964 until his retirement in 1993, he worked for the Central Arizona Project and edited two newsletters ( Watergram and Reclamation News ) reporting on the Project. Fox died of Alzheimer's disease in Washington, D.C. on March 1, 2011.
