Chandler, Samuel, 1713-1775
Samuel Chandler (1713-1775) of Gloucester, Mass. was a clergyman who in 1755 was chaplain of a regiment commanded by Col. Ichabod Plaisted (1700-1762) of Salem, Mass. This regiment took part in the Crown Point expedition at the beginning of the French and Indian War.
