Concord invited representatives of town, state and national govt., individuals, and organizations. Pres., Vice Pres., Secy. of War, and Mass. Governor attended. Chief Marshal: Maj. Gen. F.C. Barlow. G.W. Curtis delivered oration. Celebration included dinner for over 4,000. Committee published Proceedings 1876; financial statement appeared in 1875-1876 town report.
