Concord (Mass.). Committee on the Widening of Main Street

Committee appointed to make recommendations on the widening of Main Street, Concord, Mass., on the south side, largely in response to William Munroe's plan to build a library for the town at the intersection of Main Street and Sudbury Road. Munroe planned the project and arrived at an estimate ($5,000). (Cont.) The committee of three consisted of Frederic Hudson, Reuben N. Rice, and Henry F. Smith. The printed municipal town report for 1871-1872 includes their report.
