Lavers takes command at Teneriffe (29 Feb. 1881) on voyage 26 Oct. 1880-24 Mar. 1883 to the Western, Cornell, San Antonio, Steen, Coast of Brazil, Coast of Chile, and On Shore whaling grounds; owner-agent: William Lewis; built at Bath, Me., 1877.
