Anderson, Quentin, 1912-2003
American professor and literary critic, oldest son of Maxwell Anderson. Taught at Columbia University for many years and directed the graduate studies program in American Literature there. His books include The imperial self, a copy of which he inscribed to "Lenya, who introduced me to Rilke."
