Association for Humanistic Psychology.
The Association for Humanistic Psychology (AHP) was founded in 1962 by a group of noted individuals in the field of Humanistic thought. AHP was originally founded to educate researchers, practitioners, educators, students, and the public about Humanistic principles. Annual international conferences were an important part of AHP's history and early mission. In addition, global centers were constructed to host retreats, classes, and training programs to guide professionals to work in Humanistic thought and principles.
