Odon Corr reminisces about his career, from 1962-1996, with Wildlife Services, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), - formerly known as U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Branch of Predator and Rodent Control. Corr was employed in South Dakota, Minnesota and North Dakota. He shares his boyhood trapping experiences and techniques learned from a diverse family of trappers, especially his mother. He discusses his military career as an army ski trooper protecting Ladd Air Force Base (Alaska), then his work as a mammal control agent and government trapper. Corr talks about his experiences discussing such topics as rodent and various animal damage control problems, coyote, fox and wolf trapping and the different methods used such as dogs, traps, tranquilizer tab devices, the coyote-getter, M-44, aerial gunning, snares and lures. He shares his thoughts about the future of trapping and wildlife management.
