Collection consists of audiotapes and transcripts of 44 interviews with key decision-makers, administrators, and staff who were involved in refocussing the mission of Radcliffe College and who worked to establish and implement the programs and initiatives. Interviews include family background, career experience before coming to Radcliffe, but focus largely on Elizabeth Cary Agassiz's vision of Radcliffe at its founding, the transformation of Radcliffe during the Horner years, and Radcliffe's relationship with Harvard. Also includes administrative records.

Morse, Cecily. Radcliffe Class of 1962, ten years after college graduation.

Title: Radcliffe Class of 1962, ten years after college graduation. 1972.

These data were collected in 1972 in order to explore how the lives of a group of women who had graduated from college 10 years earlier had changed. The questionnaire was sent to the 312 women who had graduated from Radcliffe College in 1962. Completed questionnaires were received from 131 women. The extensive 27-page questionnaire included both open-ended and precoded questions on education, family background, present family life and satisfactions, employment and career aspirations, and daily activities. In addition, measures were included to assess physical well being, attitudes toward sex roles, perception of self, and description of life 10 years from now. One Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) projective cue was also administered. The Murray Center has all the completed questionnaires.
