Collection of autographs of prominent stage figures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as a few famous individuals from other walks of life. Some of the autographs are appended to brief notes, others are written on the backs of calling cards, while a few have been snipped from larger documents. They have been arranged in folders in alphabetical order. Autographs include: Ethel Barrymore (1904), Billie Burke, Andrew Carnegie, John Drew, Maxine Elliott, Charles Frohman, Clyde Fitch, James Montgomery Flagg, Lew Fields, William Gillette, Raymond Hitchcock, Anna Held, May Irwin, Elsie Janis (1907), Joseph Jefferson, Maxfield Parrish, Blanche Ring, Lillian Russell, Otis Skinner (1910), and Fred Stone.

Michel Mok papers, ca. 1947-ca. 1959, 1953-1955

Title: Michel Mok papers ca. 1947-ca. 1959 1953-1955

Michel Mok (1889?-1961) was a theatrical press agent and journalist. Born in the Netherlands, he immigrated to Canada and later to the U.S. where he worked as a reporter for the New York Post. In the mid-1940s he associated himself with Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II for whom he handled publicity, public relations and scheduling of major productions. He also translated The Works of Anne Frank for Doubleday. Collection consists of correspondence, business files, typescripts of writings and translations, photographs, and printed matter. Business files include biographical sketches of actors and actresses, programs and press releases.

Donehue was a director working primarily for the New York stage and television in the 1950s and 1960s. He also directed two films in Hollywood. The collection includes personal correspondence; production files containing notes, letters, partial scripts, cast lists, contracts and financial papers; complete scripts, many for television shows; clippings of reviews; and a few manuscripts and photographs.
