This manuscript contains John Boyle's contribution to the English edition of Le théâtre des Grecs. (N.b.42) Boyle's translation of the first discourse and the discourse upon the original of tragedy, along with "Digested hints for the preface." (N.b.43) The preface, which has many references to Shakespeare. Much of the text, some notes, and signatures in Boyle's autograph.
