Document which contains resolutions adopted by the Association on Oct. 1, 1908, advocating defeat of the India Basin Act and the adoption of Senate Constitutional amendment no. 29, and also notes that commercial organizations and the press of California will be notified of these resolutions. Accompanied by a form letter from the Secretary of the Association, Oct. 15, 1908. The letter urges the vote against the India Basin Act, arguing for the improvement of existing, rather than the creation of additional, waterfront south of Islais Creek. It notes that the state will be burdened by an unnecessary expense of $1,000,000 in 20-year bonds.
