Begins with a homily on the venerable Cross, by Gregory of Solun (Palamas); troparia to the Cross; Trinity refrains by Gregory Sinaites and other troparia and verses. Several homilies by noted Orthodox authors for the major feast days: Transfiguration, Assumption, Annunciation, Birth of the Theotokos, Exaltation of the Venerable Cross; Presentation to the Temple; Conception of St. Anna, Sunday before the nativity of Christ, Epiphany, Palm Sunday, Birth of St. John the Forerunner (Baptist), Feast Day of St. John the Theologian, and Lazarus' Saturday.

Translation from Greek of Lenten homilies of St. John Chrysostom (type "Zlatoust"), with texts by other church fathers, including St. Basil the Great, St. John of Damascus, St. Gregory of Nyssa, St. Anastasius Sinaita, Ephraem Syrus, St. Theodore Studites, Joseph the Confessor, Archbishop of Salonika, St. Sophronius, Patriarch of Jerusalem ("Life of St. Mary of Egypt"), Hesychius of Jerusalem, St. Andrew of Crete, St. Methodius of Olympus. Minor inscriptions on the inside of the front and the back cover. Signed scribal inscription (apology) on leaf 550b with the year and place of copying (7140, i.e. 1632, in Karyes). The scribe also informs us that he has copied 535 signatures in all. Ornamented heading (outlined in drawing) and initials.

Includes texts by Basil the Great, Callistus of Constantinople, Andrew of Crete, John Damascus, Hippolytus of Rome, Gregory of Nyssa, Theodore Studite, Ephraem of Syria, Joseph of Salonika the Confessor, Leontius of Constantinople, Athanasius of Sinai, Basil of Seleucia, Hesychius of Jerusalem, Proklus of Constantinople, Athanasius of Alexandria, Methodius of Patara (Olympus), St. Cyril of Constantinople. Also, a life of Mary of Egypt by Sophronius of Jerusalem. On leaf 395b, "history of the akathistoi taken from ancient tales, also found in another panegyric manuscript." Lengthy colophon mentions that the manuscript was written under the supervision of hegumen Grigorij and hegumen Iōsif of the Holy Theotokos Monastery in Hilandar. On leaf 522a, "from a paraklisʹiarnit︠s︡a."

Translation from Greek of the Chronicle by Constantinus Manasses, with Homily on the empire of the peoples at the end of time, by Methodius of Patara (leaf 10b); leaf 21b, eschatological excerpt from the Life of St. Andrew, Fool for the sake of Christ. The text of the Chronicle proper begins on leaf 39a. It covers the history of the Byzantine Empire up to the reign of Nicephorus III Botaneiates (ruled 1078-1081). With marginal glosses refering to Bulgarian history. Inscriptions on leaf 157b, one of which is (mistakenly!) dated 1550, but is actually from 17th cent., and another regarding the location of the manuscript in Hilandar Monastery in 17th cent., signed by Sava of Pech. Running inscription dated 1886, on leaves 1-4, 18th cent. Inscription on leaf 38b containing various remarks on the history of Byzantium and Bulgaria. "Vjaz" headings and ornamented initials.

Patristic collection and anthology with lives, histories, homilies, etc. The text begins with instructions and a homily, followed by a homily by St. John Chrysostom (leaf 18a), questions and answers (leaf 24a), homily of St. Gregory of Nazianzus (leaf 28a), transferring of the relics of St. John Chrysostom (leaf 28b), instructions for those who decided to lead an ascetic life by St. Stephen of Thebes, followed by lives of the church fathers (leaf 34a). Leaf 95b, homilies including works by Ilarion of Kiev, St. Anastasius of Antioch and Pseudo-Methodios. Incomplete (the beginning and end are missing, as well as some leaves throughout). The order of the leaves is confused. Inscription on leaf 29a refers to the death of monk Andonīe. Without ornamentation.

Translation from Greek of the Pearls, a selection of pious pieces by St. John Chrysostom (leaves 1-47) and others for the Lenten and Pentecostal cycles, according to the cycles of both triodions. 185 homilies in all. Included also are: "History of the icons" (leaf 109a); "History of the miracle of the Theotokos or the Defense of Constantinople" (leaf 136a); "History of the discovery of the head of John the Baptist" (leaf 370b); "On evil women" (leaf 372a). Marginal glosses on all the texts. Inscriptions on leaf 371b and 372b about the location of the manuscript and its purchase. Priest Nikanor's inscription from 1685 on leaf 372b (cf. Ms. Hil. 160). Without ornamentation.

Incomplete ending.
