The collection includes a diary, 19 July-16 August 1833, concerning a trip from Fredericksburg to Gordonsville, Charlottesville, Rockfish Gap, Waynesboro, Staunton, Warm Springs, Hot Springs, White Sulphur Springs, Sweet Springs, Covington, and Lexington, Va. Also included are accounts, 19 July-23 August 1833, concerning the trip to the above places plus expenses in Harrisonburg, New Market, and Luray, Va. There also is correspondence, 1823-1835, of Peck concerning John Peck & Co. of Fredericksburg. Correspondents include Randle Hulse Moale, Bradstreet Moody, Francis Peck (at the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary in Virginia, Alexandria), John Peck, and John Simms (bears letter of John Peck to Nicholas Peck). Included are Isaac Gorham Peck's accounts, 1837-1838, which he kept in Fredericksburg, Va. There are letters, 1822-1834, written by or addressed to Doctor Lemuel Williams Briggs (concerning Isaac Gorham Peck), Randle Hulse Moale, Francis Peck, John Peck, and the postmaster of Fredericksburg, Va. Also includes lines of verse, 1835-1837, written by G[eorge] Cox of Fredericksburg, Va.
