Four vols. of Frothingham's histories are extra-illustrated with engravings and contains notes and revisions. One box contains notes and manuscripts on the history of Charlestown, Mass. Mrs. Richards thanks Warren for his history of the Bunker Hill Monument Association and corrects two "mistakes" at length. She points out that a fair in 1833 to benefit the Perkins Asylum for the Blind raised $11,400 in one week, and that she conducted the "Post Office" at the 1840 Bunker Hill Fair, but not as editor of the "Transcript" a position she did not obtain until after her brother's 1842 death. She suggests Warred had confused the "fairy houses" table at the Blind Fair with the "Post Office" table at the Bunker Hill Fair and gives several anecdotes of the latter mentioning Dr. J.C. Warren, Amos Lawrence and a concurrent "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too" convention.

Amory family papers, 1697-1894, consist of business, estate, and personal papers of the Amory family and related Coffin and Sullivan families of Boston, Mass. Business papers pertain to the multi-generational family merchant establishments Jonathan and John Amory; Amory, Taylor, and Rogers; Cutler and Amory; John and Thomas Amory; and Jonathan and Thomas Amory and Company. Included in the collection are correspondence, shipping papers, estate inventories, wastebooks, account books, cash books, invoices, letterbooks, bills, and receipts. Correspondents include merchants John Rowe, Enoch Greenleaf, Cotton Tufts, Obadiah Curtis and London merchant houses Forsyth, Smith & Company and Harrison & Ansley, among others. Materials related to Jonathan and John Amory and Amory, Taylor, and Rogers are of particular importance as they document the struggle Boston merchants had with the Stamp Act, British taxation, non-importation, and parliamentary encroachments on the colonies and trade.
