Six four-line stanzas about a woman created by a god. She is returned to her original form (a clod) at the request of her disenchanted lover. Two copies are present, one written on two leaves and signed, the other on a smaller piece of loose-leaf paper and unsigned.

Copy text for the revised version of Wilde's story as it was published by Mitchell Kennerley in 1921. It consists of pages from the story as first published in Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine, July 1889, with manuscript corrections and marginal additions, and some pages entirely in manuscript. Also present are a carbon copy of a typescript report (5 p.) written for Kennerley by Arthur Hooley, concerning possible "grounds for offense" in the story; a prospectus (4 p.) for the Kennerley edition, and a clipping from the New York Post, 20 June 1921, about Kennerley and the manuscript.

A comedy in three acts involving several genteel Englishmen and women, the Bishop of Hong Kong, and a Chinese diplomat. Each act is marked, "This is the final form...." This manuscript contains a great deal of cancellation and rewriting; three leaves are in the writing of Hooley, with revisions by Bennett. Accompanied by a letter from Bennett to Hooley, 11 April 1902, detailing the sale and production of the play.
