Includes corporate records, administrative correspondence, financial and legal documentation, employment and medical records, property and miners₂ housing records, as well as operational records from the company₂s underground, surface, stamp mill, reclamation, railroad, and smelting operations. Also includes records of several mining companies related to the Quincy Mining Company which operated in Houghton, Ontonagon, and Keweenaw Counties and on Isle Royale.

Drier, a native of Calumet, Michigan and alumnus and professor of the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan. Contains items pertaining to Michigan's Copper Country, including record books, correspondence, deeds, maps, family histories, lighthouse journals, and company records. Also includes work done under appropriate duty orders for the U.S. Navy on x-ray investigations and a scrapbook with clippings, letters, invitations and programs as well as Drier's doctoral hood and graduation cap, the first issued by the Michigan College of Mining and Technology.
