Other personages: Eleanor Roosevelt, Mackenzie King. Part 2, horses and mules draw buses in Rome during a transportation emergency. Part 3, Gen. Willoughby and a Brazilian general review cadets at West Point. Part 4 shows Marine Corps combat cameramen accompanying advancing infantry units on Guam.

Willoughby photograph collection includes photos from WWII and after; none from General Willoughby's earlier career years. Numerous photos of the Philippine Islands during WWII in which many feature General Douglas MacArthur; some high altitude aerial photos of areas of Korea, many of Inchon and environs; a large photo album titled "Memoir of Twelve Years in the Far East," General Headquarters, Far East Command, Military Intelligence Section. There is also a fine collection dealing with the Berlin Wall for the years 1961-1962.

Memoir of Stuart Wood entitled, "Light at the End of the Tunnel's End." Memoir consists of maps and photographs, rosters of prisoners of war and newspaper clippings. In the memoir, Wood describes the fall of the Philippines and his role as G-2 (intelligence officer) for General Jonathan M. Wainwright prior to the surrender of United States forces to the Japanese in March 1942. His life as a prisoner of war (POW) is covered in detail with many anecdotes describing the mental and physical privation suffered by all prisoners of the Japanese. His trail of prisoner camps led through Formosa, Okinawa, and eventually to a POW camp near Mukden, China. Following the surrender of the Japanese this group of prisoners contacted with the Russian Army and was evacuated by U.S. forces to the Philippines and eventually to the United States.
