Fairchild, Julia Strong Lawrence, Mary E. Moore, Elizabeth T. Lawrence, Helen Underhill, L. Raymond, R.B. Smith, and Frank Jarvis. Papers of Col. Verne LaSalle Rockwell (1878-1961) include military papers covering his career as a cavalry officer in the U.S. Army from his appointment to West Point, 1895, until his retirement, 1922; also, papers of Col. Rockwell as executor for the estates of Lucy Slade Blydenburgh and Morgan Brower Blydenburgh, 1950-1952, including the will of Morgan Blydenburgh, 1945. Records pertaining to the Arthur-Rockwell House in the Village of the Branch include letters, bills, deeds, maps, and surveys, 1849-1954. Also, unidentified account books, 1780s and 1790s, deeds and land agreements involving Caleb Smith and George Smith, 1783, and Isaac Smith, 1878; deed for the Smithtown and Port Jefferson Railroad to acquire title to the land of Phebe T. Lawrence and others, 1871; a photograph album of the Arthur family, 1860s; and miscellaneous photographs of the town of Smithtown, and of the Arthur, Lawrence, Smith, and Strong families.
