Biographical History

Journalist, playwrite, political activist. Born in 1949 in Lubbock, Texas. 1971 graduate of Texas Tech University. Founder of the Lubbock Mexican American Chamber of Commerce (COMA) in 1975. Owner of Amigo Publication which publishes two bilingual weeklies, EL EDITOR and LA VOZ in Lubbock and Odessa, Texas. Author of EL TRAJE DE SANTO CLOS, a bilingual Christmas Play. Member of Chicanos for Political Awareness, Arnett Benson Neighborhood Council, Raza Unida Party, and League of United Latin American Citizens - LULAC Council 263.
