Henry Clarence Dworshak (b. Aug. 29, 1894, Duluth, Minn.-d. July 23, 1962, Washington, D.C.), a U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator from Idaho, served overseas as a sergeant in the 4th Antiaircraft Machine Gun Battalion during the First World War. He had a long career in the printing trade and was editor and publisher of a newspaper in Burley, Idaho for 20 years. He elected as a Republican to the U.S. Congress, serving from 1939 to 1946, later serving in the U.S. Senate during two time periods from January 1946 to 1949 and from Oct. 1949 until his death in 1962.
