Born Jerzy Antoni Niezbrzycki in Niemirov, Ukraine Degree in law; graduate work in geography and philosophy, University of Warsaw -
1927 -1930 :Polish diplomatic service, Moscow and Kiev -
1931 -1939 :Director of Eastern Section of Polish military intelligence; member, faculty of Polish Military Academy and Institute of Journalism -
1939 -1945 :Serves with Polish armed forces in Poland and the West -
1945 -1949 :Resides in London; lectures at Polish Institute of Eastern Affairs and Free Polish University; becomes British subject and changes name to Ryszard Wraga -
1949 -1958 :Resides in Paris; acts as consultant on Soviet Affairs to French Foreign Office Research Department -

Emigrates to the U.S.; works at Library of Congress -
