Writer. Mary Theresa Vidal sailed for Australia with her husband in 1839; she returned to England in ca. 1844. Her published works include "Tales for the bush" (1845). Her two brothers were Charles Wellington Johnson (later changed his name to Furse) and William Johnson (later changed his name to Cory).
