American editor, novelist, and non-fiction writer.

Beginning his journalistic career as a reporter and editorial writer for the Wichita Eagle, Charles Driscoll originated the "school page," now a widely used feature in newspapers. He became famous for his daily editorial "The World and All," in the Eagle. Driscoll was later associated with the McNaught Syndicate, writing for the Omaha Daily News, the St. Paul Daily News and the Cleveland Press. Although primarily a journalist, Driscoll was also published in American Mercury and other contemporary journals. He was the author of Kansas Irish (1943) and trilogy was never completed although several other books were written before his death.
