Variant namesMaterials gathered for Gamio's study of Mexican immigration conducted under the auspices of the Social Science Research Council and published in 1930 by the University of Chicago as "Mexican immigration to the United States." A companion volume consisting of several of the autobiograhical accounts collected by Gamio for the earlier study was also published by Chicago, in 1931, as "The Mexican immigrant, his life story."
