Lovick Pierce was a Methodist minister and the father of the Georgia Methodist bishop George Foster Pierce.
Ann Pierce Howard was the granddaughter of Lovick Pierce, a methodist minister and the father of Georgia Methodist bishop George Foster Pierce. Her husband was Seaborn J. Howard.
