Mexico City (1977-1982), California State University, Los Angeles (1985-1986), Texas State Technical College, McAllen, Texas (1991-1992), College of the Siskiyous, Weed California (1992-1994); received his Doctor of Humane Letters, Houston International University, Houston, Texas (1989).
