Variant namesMary Margaret Heaton was the daughter of London silk merchant J. Keymer, who introduced her to his friends among London's literati. She married Chemistry Professor Charles Heaton, and made a name for herself as an authority on art. In addition to her writings about art, she authored several children's stories.
