Biographical History

Mary Margaret Heaton was the daughter of London silk merchant J. Keymer, who introduced her to his friends among London's literati. She married Chemistry Professor Charles Heaton, and made a name for herself as an authority on art. In addition to her writings about art, she authored several children's stories.
