Cox, Samuel H. (Samuel Hanson), 1793-1880
Variant namesSidney V. Lowell (1844-1931) was a Brooklyn lawyer who specialized in prosecuting taxation cases, and also served as Assistant Corporation Counsel of Brooklyn. He was also a lifelong member of the Long Island Historical Society (now the Brooklyn Historical Society), as well as the First Unitarian Church in Brooklyn, located at Monroe Place and Pierrepont Street. He married Josephine Champney in 1869.
