Letters about militia funds in which paymaster general, Washington, D.C., (Jan. ll, 1816) instructs acting paymaster, at St. Clairsville, Ohio, to pay militia from funds to be received from estate of Jacob Van Horne, Jefferson County, Ohio, late paymaster of militia; and auditor gives receipts for the sum due the U.S. and paid from the estate (June 6, 1818).
