Notes on the subject of the Dutch East India Company, 1787.

Having consulted Mr. Boers on the constitution of the Company, he concluded that it needed financial backing and loans. He suggested as remedies: the cessation of Negapatam, facilities at Surat where the British impede Dutch commerce, arrangements to be made at Bengal regarding salt, opium and salt-petre, and the renunciation of the article in the last treaty on the subject of free navigation.
